Need community service -- join us at 10 am on Friday (9/6) @Campus Ministry Center to stuff 300 invites for a big ministry event. Donuts for those who show. Will take at least an hour.

Discussed: What does jubilee have to do with gospel? What does gospel encompass (reconciliation personally, relationally, environmentally, with God), and what does peace mean (more than me feeling peaceful while others suffer) -- all this is what the good news includes (i.e. a way of living in addition to a set of beliefs).

Heard about Montreat College Conference (Jan. 2 - 5, 2014), cost per student $50 (includes registration, housing, meals, transportation), registration deadline Wed. 9/25 $25 reserves a spot. Here is the conference video and conference webpage
