Weekend of service volunteer info

Habitat on Friday, September 12 

Please meet at the Campus Ministry Center by 3:30 pm (downtown at corner of Price/Willey Sts, meet in driveway off Price St, it is a cream/green house).

Wear closed toed/soled shoes and clothes for doing construction work.  I recommend jeans.  Bring raincoat if needed.  If you need community service hours, you can find the ISERVE listing HERE.  Habitat listing expires on Friday.

This is easily mapped from google maps.  I would take the Richwood avenue route that winds you by Mario's Fishbowl.  You turn to get on Richwood just past the Dairy Mart on Willey.  Volunteer parking on Dunn Street (off Jerome street? can see on the map).

Pancake Breakfast, Sunday, September 14

Set your alarms!!  We will be preparing and serving the Pancake Breakfast at 7 am on Sunday morning at First Presbyterian Church, Morgantown (downtown, corner of Forest/Spruce Sts/456 Spruce Street, big red cross on front of building that faces Spruce St.).  You enter the building from Forest Avenue (second set of doors that are wooden with glass panes).  

We will start at 7 am and end hopefully by 10 am/10:30 am at the latest.

We will cook pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, coffee, tea, etc.  We will set up tables, wash dishes, sweep and mop.  So dress accordingly.  We will serve between 50 - 75 persons who need a hot breakfast.

You can sign up on ISERVE.  Please do so before Sunday because the sign up expires.  Search for Presbyterian Student Fellowship if the ISERVE links don't work.
