Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break.

When you return from break, the church calendar will have shifted into the season of Advent.  If you are scratching your head about what Advent is, check out this link.

This is a great time to reconnect with worship as life and classes gets hectic and stress about exams and end of the term activities increases.  First Presbyterian Church, Morgantown has worship every Sunday morning at 10:45 am.  As with many churches during Advent, they will have a time in the service for lighting the Advent wreath.  Please join in worship.  They are located downtown at the corner of Forest/Spruce streets near the VFW.

On Sunday, Dec. 8, the campus pastor will be preaching at the 10:45 am service.  Following the service, exam care packages will be distributed to all WVU students attending worship.  They will be filled with goodies to tide you over dead/exam week.

The PSF will also focus on themes of Advent during the final weeks of the semester.

On December 4, we will have an advent prayer service and spend some time decorating the Christmas tree in the campus ministry center.

On December 12, we will have an advent prayer walk.

Our meetings start at 7 pm @Campus Ministry Center with free dinner and the program follows.  We are located at the corner of Price/Willey Sts downtown across the street from the VFW.
