YAY!! WELCOME BACK!! I look forward to seeing each of you on Wednesday evening at the Campus Ministry Center around 7 pm. (293 Willey Street, downtown, cream and green house).
We will have roast beef sandwiches, twice baked potatoes, and green beans for dinner. We will have an epiphany themed worship and time to gather for the semester.
Looking ahead, our semester will include a study of christian practices from the Celebration of Discipline (Foster), we will prepare for leading worship in April. Will has suggested a retreat for March at the Greenbank Observatory, there may be an additional retreat on vocation in April! We will crowd source our study of scripture and liturgy for the worship on April 3. Your interns will have planning meetings, look for more info. We hope to paint bowls on Jan. 31.
Most importantly, see you on Wed. Jan. 13 at 7 pm for dinner and worship.
Also, First Pres Morgantown has a great Sunday school on Islam and Christianity each Sunday starting at 10 am.
ONE MORE THING -- the ministry staff is reading Nadia Bolz Weber's accidental saints as part of our study this spring -- if you want to join us in discussing and reading it, let me know.
